Konfabulator (new version 2.0 just came out 2 days ago) is a widget engine for winXP/OS X. Widgets are does small little apps which should make your life easier and give some look and fell to your boring desktop.. (It does slow down your pc though)
I tried it out, couldn’t wait for the new 2Ghz iMac with Tiger on it ordered several days ago (You can also see that I’m desperate for OS X when looking at my desktop skin. It’s Flyakite). The widget I like most is the weather thing, nice graphics and handy. Traffic cam of NYC and the radar images are cool addons. I didn’t figure out how to let the calendar thing show my outlook events?!
