Lambie’s post, but especially this one thrilled me!

Here have a look at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I think one of those pads is the space shuttle launch pad, the big one look like the assemply building?

    Yep, those are the launchpads at the Kennedy Space Center. The large building in the lower-left is the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) where orbiter Discovery is currently being remated with the ET (External Tank) and SRB’s (Solid Rocket Boosters). Launchpad 39A is at the top and 39B is at the bottom. These pads date back to the Apollo Moon Landing era and are still in use today. Discovery will roll out to 38B on June 14.
