So you’re downloading ubuntu over the bittorrent network and always get a really lame speed and just red or blue smileys?

First of all you’ll have to PortForward the range 6881-6889 on your router to the desired machine. That’s the easy part - but what about it if you have two or even more machines using BitTorrent on the same net, behind the same router at the same time? Just split up the port range and for ex. forward 6881-6885 to machine one and 6886-6889 to machine two. Then be sure to change the incoming port in your Azureus Options dialog to a forwarded one - et voilĂ !

I too activated QoS on my WRT54G to speed up regular HTTP, IMAP, etc. traffic when downloading at full speed.
