What on earth is this?
I left my MacBook on for a couple of hours in dual-screen mode. After I returned home I saw this unusal screen behaviour. Putting the laptop to sleep and waking it up again solves the problem, for now.
Usually I leave the laptop lid closed when working with the big screen. Heat has never been a problem.

I find that sometimes my macbook pro flickers in the video when going and comming back from exposé. I hope its not a defect in the grafic cards its a macbook pro core 2 due and is only 2 months old.
