Apple did release a public build of Safari 3 for both OS X and Windows today. Besides the big increase in render speed of the webkit engine one tiny little feature did catch my attention. The web inspector seems to be around for some time now. Still, it appears pretty useful to me as a part time web developer. It seems a lot more intuitive than Microsofts Internet Explorer Developer Bar and less powerful than the Firefox extension firebug. To be honest, I still like CSSEdit. I do miss some easy way of having the IE HTML engine on macs (integrated in one of these applications) for simple debug purposes..

Hello there fellow blogospherian!
Just stopping by to leave you a comment of appraisal.
I love your blog, and As you can tell have taken a certain amount of inspiration from it.
I only wish I understood what you were talking about! I mean I am very much a nerd, but this is just godly! I appreciate anything nerdy, thus I love your blog.
However I was wondering how one sets up the tags in the post details (up there at the top you see) and how I would integrate my digg, share this and other links such as that, into the post bar thing. Oh and also, the tag cloud you have there, its fantastic! Again, how do you do that?
I don’t mean to be copying your blog or anything, its just that I can tell this theme has been set up to be run that way. don’t worry Mine will eventually differentiate quite a bit.
Anyway, I hope all is well for you, and I hope to hear from you soon. Keep up the good work!
Oh and by the way, I am equally as excited as you on the release of safari for windows!
That keynote, was disappointing in some ways, and surprising in others, I.e. This!
ooh, just got it this afternoon! cant wait to try it out!!!
Thanks Philippe! (is that correct?)
Thanks for the help with all that, I had heard of them before, but didn’t really know what they were for.
Missing link my friend!
Thanks alot :]
Take care!
(i’ll give you an update on how it all goes too)
