Finally Equinux decided to include a wider range of customers in their VPN Tracker 5 beta program. My Cisco University connection does work now (over 3G) and the interface did seem to have been improved dramatically. I like the idea of assigning custom actions after a connection has been established or disconnected (ex. check for new mail).
